Biography
Katelin has over ten years of experience as an elementary school teacher and recently completed her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin, where she contributed to numerous studies focused on equitable educational policy. Her individual interests lie in educational policy at the intersection of race and religion. Her extensive background in qualitative research and analysis has given her strong expertise in qualitative research and methods.
At the Research Translation Platform, Katelin supports research processes related to policy translation and institutional change. In her role, she uses her knowledge of education and research to help bridge the gap between evidence and policy to examine ways to foster effective policy engagement and advocate for evidence-informed institutional transformations.
